  20. These are all possible points in the menu. Normally you only see the points
  21. which you can execute because of your user level or which make sense for the
  22. current action.

  24. In the following you find an exact description of the several commands:
  25.  
  26. CA = Change Area                    In the several areas there are files with
  27.                                     the same topic. Entering CA you get a
  28.                                     listing of all the areas with number and
  29.                                     short summary. Moreover the security_level
  30.                                     which is at least required for Read or
  31.                                     Write Message is shown. The two values can
  32.                                     be different. To get into the respective
  33.                                     area one of them will do. After that you
  34.                                     get a prompt for the number of the area
  35.                                     wanted.

  37. CD = Change Directory               With this command you can change to a sub-
  38.                                     directory. Here you have to know the name
  39.                                     of the directory. So it is necessary to
  40.                                     make a list first. Now you are prompted
  41.                                     to enter the name of the respective sub-
  42.                                     directory.
  43.  
  44. CS = Chat SysOp                     This function makes a bell ringing on the
  45.                                     BBS host to call the sysop. If the sysop is
  46.                                     ready you find yourself in the chat mode.
  47.                                     If the sysop is not available you get a
  48.                                     message. Now you can leave a private mail
  49.                                     to him (sysop user number 5).

  51. DE = Delete Directories or Files    This command deletes directories or files.
  52.                                     After you have entered the respective name
  53.                                     you get a message if you were successful.
  54.                                     To be able to do this you need at least
  55.                                     security_level 90.

  57. LI = List Directories and Files     With this command you get a listing of all
  58.                                     directories and files with description (if
  59.                                     available) in a requested order. At first
  60.                                     the directories are listed with a + before
  61.                                     the name followed by the files with a -
  62.                                     before the name.

  64. MD = Make Directories               With this command you can make directories.
  65.                                     After you have entered the new directory
  66.                                     name you get a message if you were success-
  67.                                     ful. After that you get a prompt for a
  68.                                     description of the directory but you can
  69.                                     go on with enter. For this action you need
  70.                                     at least security_level 60.

  72. MM = Main Menu                      With this command you can get back from
  73.                                     this board to the main menu.

  75. RE = Rename Directories or Files    With this command you can change the name
  76.                                     of a directory or file. First you have to
  77.                                     enter the current name. After this the new
  78.                                     name is asked. To do this you need at least
  79.                                     security_level 70.

  81. RM = Read Message                   With this command you can read all avail-
  82.                                     able messages. Because you have to enter
  83.                                     the file name you need to make a list.

  85. SC = Set Directory or File Comment  With this command you can modify, delete or
  86.                                     complete the descriptions of the director-
  87.                                     ies or files. After entering the respective
  88.                                     directory or file name a new description
  89.                                     can be written. To do this you need at
  90.                                     least security_level 40.

  92. WM = Write Message                  After you have entered the file name and
  93.                                     the description you can write a message.
